Data Manager
Job Description
The data manager is responsible for the timely update of product information in the annuity product database. The manager researches product information from various sources and compiles it into the product database either through manual entry or uploads. The data manager ensures that the data is current and accurate. Interfaces with representatives from insurance carriers and CapitalRock clients and builds relationships.
Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance a custom database of annuity and life products from insurance carriers
Act as a subject matter export on products within in the system.
Help develop and deliver product training to clients
Be the advocate for the customers to understand their needs and help develop opportunities for increased sales and strategies to address competition
Act as a leader for the product s success within the company
Work with web-based custom database application
Find rates in tables that need to be updated and make the necessary edits and changes on a daily basis
Search carrier websites for product information and rates
Interact with Insurance Carriers to obtain rate and product information
Review rates and product data for accuracy and make necessary edits in custom database application
Test rate and product information using prescribed test cases, and compare results against product data and rates for accuracy
Test application against pre-defined use cases for scoring consistency and product output accuracy

Qualifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Ability to interact with Insurance Carriers via email and phone to obtain rate and product information
Must be extremely detail oriented - data input accuracy and review precision are a must
Some knowledge of the Annuity Industry would be helpful, but not necessary
Ability to search for and find Insurance Carrier product and rate information on the internet
Proven ability to work without direct supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Projects a positive and professional image to all internal and external parties
