Sporting Goods Store Manager
Job Description
Full time Manager of our Retail Store in Bountiful. We sell a full line of Sports Apparel, Shoes and Gear from brands such as:
Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, Asics, Mizuno and Puma. We focus primarily on Soccer but also offer general merchandise from major Brands.
We are looking for an individual who is a strong leader and who has experience managing others successfully. Retail experience is helpful but on required.
Please apply if you love Soccer and have had some experience playing it at any level. We will train you in our procedures including scheduling staff, receiving and/or transferring new merchandise, product knowledge and how to generate more store traffic and sales.
We offer additional bonus incentives after 90 days for sales generated from marketing activities preformed by the Manager. We'll provide details about this extra opportunity during the interview process.
We are open from 10-7 weekdays and 10-6 on Saturdays. We are not open on Sundays.
Responsibilities
Our Managers are responsible for the over all operation of the store including staff scheduling and training, overall customer service, store merchandise display, running our cash drawers and insuring our entire staff provide Superior Customer Service to all our customers.
Managers will open and/or close most weekdays and work at the store at 2-3 Saturdays/mo.
Qualifications
Prior Retail or equivalent sales experience is very helpful
Ability to lead other staff members and insure all staff are providing great Customer Service
Outgoing personality and ability to share knowledge about Soccer shoes, apparel and gear
Ability to follow existing policy and procedures to insure others do the same
Organized and committed to a full time job
