Job Description
The Hospitality Reservationist position at Private Vacations the most important position in our company to help our hotels and resorts achieve their goals! Each reservationist is expected to be highly skilled in customer service and sales. All calls are inbound and are very warm and we are looking for a nice and ambitious person that will close the booking every time someone calls. Private Vacations is a young company with A LOT of room for promotion internally. We currently do bookings for hotels in Hawaii, Peru, Southern Utah, Northern Utah, and Alaska. We need hard working and dedicated people to join our team!
Responsibilities
1. Responds to telephone & email requests from customers for hotel reservations.
2. Provides information about rates/package options, payments, cancellation policies, resort facilities, etc.
3. Up sells reservations, spa, dinner reservations, and activities to all guests.
4. Enters reservation information in the computer system and charges credit cards at time of booking. Responsible for finalizing all records.
5. Revises reservation records and document changes to keep records current.
6. Additional projects and duties as assigned that assist in meeting the overall department goals.
Qualifications
1. Must be able to speak and write in English, bilingual is a plus
2. Be respectful, responsible
3. Able to work with other team members as a team
4. Able to process document with Word and Excel
5. 1 to 2 years experience in customer service or hospitality industryEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
