Digital Marketing Assistant

Purpose and Distinguishing Characteristics:
The incumbent is responsible and accountable for driving the performance of earned, owned and paid digital media campaigns and building the online marketing strategy for clients, as well as driving the overall tactical execution of client programs. The incumbent needs to maintain a solid understanding of best practices and trends as they relate to each online marketing tactic.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Build the online marketing strategy for clients
Drive the overall tactical execution of client programs
Drive all client online marketing activities to increase qualified traffic, conversion, revenue, efficiency and growth for all client programs
Integrate online efforts for client programs
Support sales team in account growth
Other tasks as assigned

Find, gather and collect information or data, evaluate information against a set of standards
Principles, theories, and practices of online marketing, PPC, social media, and web development
Observe, measure, and evaluate outcomes against goals and objectives and direct the development and implementation of solutions and/or organizational changes
Speak clearly, concisely and effectively; listen to and understand information and ideas as presented verbally
Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely in writing; read and understand information presented in writing
Read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
Deliver presentations and training using acceptable methods and techniques
Facilitate or lead meetings, teams, or work groups to encourage participation, build mutual trust, respect and cooperation among participants
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Knowledge of current trends related to each online marketing tactic
Highly organized
Detail-oriented
Ability to travel
Flexible work hours as needed
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field from an accredited university, 3+ years experience in digital marketing, At least 1 full year of Conversion Optimization Experience, SEO experience and 1 full year of Social Media
Experience with Google Apps, Microsoft Office, Moz, Buzzstream, UBL, Majestic, SEMrush.
Intermediate to expert understanding of Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools.
Proficient in Excel/Google Spreadsheets
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Physical and Safety Requirements
Sedentary: Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying light items, driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
