New Business Development Representative

Submittal Exchange, a division of Textura is a collaborative, secure on-line system for exchanging, reviewing, and archiving construction submittals, RFIs, and other design and construction communications electronically. Submittal Exchange has been used by thousands of design firms, contractors, and owners on $20+ billion of construction across the United States, Canada, and Europe. We are seeking New Business Development Representatives to work with prospects nationwide in the architecture, engineering and construction industries. Our fast-paced, work environment requires aggressive, results-oriented self-starters who demonstrate enthusiasm for success, eagerness to learn, and ability to communicate effectively and consistently over the phone. Reps will work in a team environment where they are expected to produce results with little supervision. Our company provides an on-line, software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution that reduces paperwork and saves money on commercial construction projects. Our company is growing rapidly and we are eagerly seeking high quality individuals to join our team. This position will be located in Bountiful, UT near Salt Lake City.
Complete a high volume of phone calls per day to prospective clients within the construction industries
Build a consistent pipeline of clients who are willing to view on-line demonstrations of our document management software
Prospect, generate and qualify prospects, seek referrals through cold calling
Identify and connect with potential new customers, and lay the foundation for future sales by calling and interacting with decision makers at targeted organizations
Deliver product information to potential clients prospects, customers and partners
Record consistent, accurate activity using the company's standardized tracking and reporting tools in salesforce.com
Ability to contact and schedule multiple appointments daily
Strong ability to penetrate new territories and build a steady pipeline of opportunities that result presentations
Ability to quickly learn and apply industry, product, and sales process knowledge
Consistently achieve a target volume of telephone contacts with prospects (daily/weekly/monthly)
Maintain industry and product knowledge to effectively and confidently respond to questions
Increase the quality and volume of opportunities generated (achieving monthly/quarterly opportunity quota)
Meet organizational standards regarding availability, attendance, and punctuality
Excellent telephone skills, cold calling, generating leads, appointment setting, inside sales or relevant experience
Excellent telephone and communication skills
Working knowledge of the Internet and MS-Office software, salesforce.com or other CRM

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
