Directs and coordinates all activities associated with receiving and storeroom operations, ensuring adherence to established receiving, stock rotation, requisition and sanitation and security procedures.
Works closely with all Department Heads to maintain a smooth and efficient flow of needed materials.
Selects, trains, schedules, and manages all storeroom personnel, to ensure quality of performance and adherence to all Deer Valley Standards
Responsibilities:
Maintains appropriate staffing levels through effective forecasting, recruiting, selection, hiring and training Schedules personnel so as to ensure optimum performance of department Supervises receiving and storeroom activities to ensure adherence to accepted procedures, receipt of materials and supplies as specified on purchase order documents and security of all materials placed in storage Ensures accurate, timely completion of computerized receiving reports and transmittal of receiving documentation Records and reports any receiving related discrepancies, to facilitate request for credit or replacement or damaged or discrepant goods including but not limited to daily transfers and restock, checking all product received against invoices, and filling all daily requisition on the date requested Maintains organized purchase order and receiving documentation files including restocking and requisitioned product on a daily basis to ensure correct pricing and quantity are charged to the correct outlet Ensures proper dating, pricing, tagging of all food products, materials and supplies placed into storeroom Oversees proper storage of materials and supplies received, ensures appropriate refrigeration of perishable items, and proper placement and rotation of stock to prevent loss due to deterioration of product quality while in storage Follow all DABC Rules and Regulations Ensures established requisition procedures are followed for all materials and supplies leaving storeroom Ensures respective prices are indicated on requisitions for all items issued Ensures proper maintenance of liquor storeroom perpetual inventory Forwards completed requisitions to respective storeroom clerk Monitors par levels for items in inventory, places requisition in backtrack when levels reach reorder point Monitors temperatures in refrigerated storage areas Ensures storeroom cleanliness and adherence to all food safety sanitation requirements Supervises/performs daily, monthly, quarterly annual inventories Coordinates receipt, storage and delivery of packages delivered via common carrier Ensures appropriate departments are notified when packages are received for guests, assists with delivery as needed Interviews, selects, trains, praises, coaches, counsels and disciplines personnel according to Deer Valley standards Establishes and ensures adherence to all departmental guidelines, policies and procedures within all Deer Valley storerooms Responsible for the smooth, efficient, cost effective operation of Storeroom/Receiving department to include:
labor management, inventory control, Evaluates individual employee performance, determines areas in need of improvement, or requirements for advancement, establishes goals, objectives and training needs required me Attends required departmental meetings to:
keep abreast of in-house activities/promotions and events; maintain communications with other departments throughout the resort Conducts daily pre-shift and weekly departmental meetings in storerooms as required to communicate effectively with all Storeroom/Receiving personnel to ensure that they are kept current with pertinent hotel information and activities Performs storeroom clerk duties as soon as necessary
Qualifications:
One year of job-related experience in working with food, or one year of job-related experience in purchasing Must be 21 years or older This is not an administrative desk job Computer proficient Conscientious and thorough Good organizational skills Able to adapt to changes Able to work well with coworkers Self-motivated Thorough knowledge of meat/produce/grocery specifications and standard grading classifications of all storeroom products Ability to operate basic storeroom equipment Ability to stand, stoop, bend repetitively and lift up to 50 lbs.
Working knowledge of computer software to include inventory control, backtrack, Windows, Word, Excel Effective management, leadership, organizational and communication skills Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays Deer Valley is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
