Staff Accountant
KPB EQUITIES is a Utah based Private Equity Venture Capital firm who has investments in companies ranging in industries from; Entertainment, Graphic Design, Ranching, Catering/Restaurants, and Computer Software. We are a fast paced and growing company who prides itself in creating value adding transactions, creating economies, and helping entrepreneurs' visions become a reality.
As KPB's Staff Accountant, you will assist the CFO and Senior Accountant with the following:
Daily Procedural Accounting:
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Review, recommend, and develop processes and procedures to help improve efficiency, accuracy, and completeness of data
Other applicable duties as company needs increase
Month-End Closings:
Credit card and checking account data entry and reconciliations
Budget reporting
Financial Statement analysis
Key ratios analysis
Create data for accrual Journal Entries
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or 2013 anticipated Graduate
Strong math, communication, organizational, and logic skills
Strong QuickBooks skills preferred but not required
Proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines
